Engineer’s Day

On the Auspicious occasion of the birthday of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, an eminent founder & Engineer of our beloved Country, CSIT celebrates Engineers day on 15 September every years marking the importance of Engineers in Society.This year the event was celebrated in grand style. The celebration aimed to bring out and enhance the potential engineering skills which reside in every student. Chairman Er. Ajay Prakash Verma spoke about the need of excellent engineers in contemporary society. Principal shared his experience about technology and technical changes.

Foundation Day

CSGI, which completed two decades of glorious history, celebrated its Foundation Day in an ostentatious way. A day when memoirs, experiences, ecstasy, enthusiasm all got entangled with each other. On this auspicious occasion various prizes are distributed to students for their excellent performances in academics, for maintaining attendance, faculties were appraised and awarded for results as well as for their contributions in the field of Research and Development. The parents of University topper and semester topper of all branches are invited to receive the cash award. Certificates were given to the students association, position holders and students who had attendance more than 95% were given rewards. On this occasion, a felicitation program of the faculties was one of the main attractions, where a Certificate of Appreciation was distributed to the faculties, who had achieved the land marks. The first among them was appreciation for paper publication in international journals, and then for the improvement of results in their respective subjects compared to previous year after result analysis was distributed.


It is organized every year to increase networking, co operations and familiarity among students of different departments. CSGI students taken the virtual route to host and enjoy fresher’s fest off campus, during the pandemic. Numerous events and Programs were conducted digitally under the COVID-19 protocol.  The events which were organized were mainly divided into four categories, Cultural, Photography, Gaming and Informatics. Rhythm, Make Your Move, Concert, Freshers Got Talent was organized under the category of Cultural events. Face of Freshers, Dristi-O-Graphy was organized under the group of Photogram. Gully Cricket, Free-fire was organized under the league of Gaming. Speech competition was organized under the section of information. “Our college laid a milestone, this shows how a digital rendezvous can be no less than a party” said (name of any student). It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. The 2020 fest was organized successfully without any brawl, virtually as #Bolshivajihallabol, and was graced by the HODs of different departments.

Independence Day

It was the luckiest day of 1947 when India became independent after lots of hard struggle and sacrifices of the Indian freedom fighters. Homage is paid to those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country. 


Induction Program

CSGI is known for doing innovative and knowledge based programs. The Induction program was organized for first year students of all branches; the motive is to give an orientation about the college, its staff members and about the CSGI culture.  


LAQSHYA,  Bringing with it an experience of novelty, antagonism and continuous learning that has become its trait over the years. Since its origin in 2009, the fest has constantly scaled new heights . Its a National Level Techno Management Fest , which  has earned a glorious reputation in the Central India region as students from various prestigious colleges from the nation participate in it . More than 1000 students participate in this mega event every year. The 3 days long fest LAQSHYA, organised under the Sponsorship of  numerous industry giants each year. Moreover the galactic event is consistently addressed by the top most celebrities of our country.

Republic Day

Indian Republic Day commemorates the date on which the Constitution of India came into force and it became a fully sovereign nation. The day began with flag hoisting and speech given by Chairman, Director and Principal followed by various cultural programs such as dance, patriotic songs, drama and poem.

Teacher’s Day

Teachers day is celebrated all across India every year on 5th of September to pay tribute to the teachers for their precious contributions in study as well as towards the society and country. For all students of CSIT, Teachers Day is like an occasion and opportunity to pay tribute and gratitude to their teachers for their continuous, selfless and precious efforts in shaping the future. A huge preparation is done by the students to honour the occasion. On 5 September 2018, the students organized a grand function laden with speeches and cultural programmes. The Chief Guest of the function, Director Dr. Anurag Verma addressed the gathering after Saraswati Poojan. Dr. Verma said that the value of teachers will always remain high as long as knowledge remains at the top in human society.
