Chemistry is greatly involved in the world of engineering & acts as a bridge between basic science and engineering streams as it deals with the study of composition and properties of matter & materials. Budding engineers need thorough learning process and experimentations, especially in Chemical Science, which will build and enhance their skills in handling materials and also helps in updating latest researches in materials development in chemical terms. Department of Applied Chemistry has highly qualified and experienced staffs dedicated to the innovative teaching along with extended capacity of Research and Development, Consultancy. It also holds the credit of organizing several National Conferences. The Department has a well-equipped laboratory for conducting experiments in and out of the curriculum. The objective of Department is to nurture fundamentals in chemical science and material science with instrumentations to engineering students.
